The poles are made from 7075 aluminum, a material used in the aviation industry for its exceptional strength and lightness. This set is telescopic with a full extended length of 135cm, making it ideal for people up to 190cm/6'2" tall. The poles extend in two stages with a fast-lock system that can be made on the go. Additionally, the set has an anti-shock system that absorbs the shock on your knees while descending. The folded length of this set is 65cm with a weight of 599g.

What sets apart this set is the extended handles that allow you to grip the poles higher or lower depending on the terrain - this allows you to move without having to adapt the length of the poles. In other words, if you happen to be on a steep climb that suddenly descends, you can grip the pole higher or lower without having to regulate its length. The extended handles are made from a thermoplastic EVA that provides an ergonomic, warm and secure slip-proof and sweat-proof grip. The wrist straps have an adjustable width, ideal for both freehand usage during the Summer and spacious usage in Winter when you are wearing more layers.

The tips of the Black Peak Poles are made from tungsten. This material provides maximum security and ensures that the tips are stable on all surfaces. The anti-sink basket is detachable and can be switched out easily if it breaks or when in need of a wider basket for snowy conditions.
